December 29, 2022: Chattanooga, TN 37408 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers (Chattanooga, TN) and the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN), saw Howard Tech's basketball squad overcome Signal Mountain by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, Howard Tech improves its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Hustlin' Tigers host Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN) to confront the Mustangs in a 4A District 5 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Walker Valley lost 64-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Signal Mountain will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 77-50 non-league loss to East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN).
