The IMG Academy Ascenders basketball team scored 67 points and held the host The Rock Lions to 58 in the Ascenders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Ascenders now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington St. Joseph Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. IMG Academy will meet a Irish team coming off a 79-67 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Irish record now stands at 8-5.

The Lions (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Godby (Tallahassee, FL). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Godby was outscored by Suwannee (Live Oak, FL), 54-53, in a non-league contest.
