In Thursday's non-league outing, the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) basketball squad beat the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), by a margin of 76-68.

The 76ers (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 7-4 record.
