Minnesota High School Basketball - Irondale tipped by Prescott

December 29, 2022: New Brighton, MN 55112

The Prescott Cardinals basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Irondale Knights to 64 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Baldwin-Woodville for a Middle Border contest on Tuesday, January 3. Prescott will meet a Blackhawks team coming off a 48-40 non-league win over Richland Center (Richland Center, WI). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-1.

The Knights (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Spring Lake Park was nudged by White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN), 62-50, in a non-league challenge.
