New York High School Basketball - Mt. St. Michael Academy trounces Jamestown
December 29, 2022: Jamestown, NY 14701 The Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers (Bronx, NY) basketball crushed the host Jamestown Red Raiders (Jamestown, NY), 59-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mountaineers (3-5) will now prepare for their test against McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, McDonogh walloped Geneva (Geneva, NY), 47-36, in a non-league test.
The Red Raiders now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Clarence for a Section 6 Erie County I test on Friday, January 6. Jamestown will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 77-56 non-league win over Fredonia (Fredonia, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-2.
