Idaho High School Basketball - Kellogg overwhelms Prairie
December 29, 2022: Cottonwood, ID 83522 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kellogg Wildcats (Kellogg, ID) and the host Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID), saw Kellogg's basketball squad wallop Prairie by a tally of 65-30.
With the victory, Kellogg improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats host St. Maries (St. Maries, ID) to confront the Lumberjacks in a 2A Central Idaho challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Lumberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Genesee Bulldogs (Genesee, ID) in a 1A White Pine challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Prairie will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
