California High School Basketball - Knight holds off Newbury Park
December 29, 2022: Palmdale, CA 93552 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Knight Hawks (Palmdale, CA) and the visiting Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA), saw Knight's basketball squad hold off Newbury Park by a tally of 62-59.
With the victory, Knight improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA) to confront the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 12-6.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Oaks Christian Lions (Westlake Village, CA) in a Marmonte challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Newbury Park will attempt to improve on its 14-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 73-46 non-league win over Foothill Tech (Ventura, CA).
