Texas High School Basketball - Lake Worth crushes Venus
December 29, 2022: Lake Worth, TX 76135 Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX), 53-31 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lake Worth upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Bullfrogs travel to Aubrey (Aubrey, TX) to play the Chaparrals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Chaparrals go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Aubrey won 49-37 in their recent non-league bout against Lorena (Lorena, TX)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Life Waxahachie Mustangs (Waxahachie, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Venus will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 16-4 record after their 45-33 non-league win over Canton (Canton, TX).
