Georgia High School Basketball - Lamar County knocked off by Ola
December 29, 2022: Barnesville, GA 30204 The Ola Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Lamar County Trojans to 48 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 1-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McIntosh for a non-league contest on Monday, January 2. Ola will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 77-65 non-league win over Opelika (Opelika, AL). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-6.
The Trojans (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Alcovy was defeated by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 50-46, in a non-league contest.
