Georgia High School Basketball - Lassiter nudges Sonoraville
December 29, 2022: Calhoun, GA 30701 Lassiter Trojans (Marietta, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA), 62-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lassiter upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Trojans travel to Pickens (Jasper, GA) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Pickens won 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA)
Next up, the Phoenix clash with the Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Sonoraville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 74-61 non-league win over Gilmer (Ellijay, GA).
