The Leander Lions basketball team (Leander, TX), was nudged 48-42 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX)

The Cougars now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 29. The Colony will battle a Titans team coming off a 71-55 league loss to Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Titans record now stands at 10-7.

The Lions (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Boyd (McKinney, TX). The Broncos come into the non-league battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Boyd was nudged by Allen (Allen, TX), 88-50, in a league battle.
