Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack (Chicago, IL), 66-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lyons upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 15-1. Rolling Meadows won 76-61 in their recent non-league bout against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)

Next up, the Wolfpack play the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Saint Ignatius College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record.
