Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Math Civics & Sciences Mighty Elephants (Philadelphia, PA) and the host North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA), saw Math Civics & Sciences's basketball squad knock off North Pocono by a tally of 64-47.

With the victory, Math Civics & Sciences improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Mighty Elephants travel to Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Paul VI lost 53-49 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Eustace Prep (Pennsauken, NJ)

Next up, the Trojans play the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. North Pocono will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
