Minnesota High School Basketball - Spectrum topped by Melrose
December 29, 2022: Melrose, MN 56352 The Melrose Dutchmen basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Spectrum Sting to 44 in the Dutchmen league victory on Thursday.
The Dutchmen now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Moose Lake/Willow River for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Melrose will battle a Rebels team coming off a 57-48 non-league loss to Litchfield (Litchfield, MN). The Rebels record now stands at 3-3.
The Sting (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN). The Crusaders come into the AA Section 6 contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, St. Cloud Cathedral prevailed over Concordia Academy (Roseville, MN), 85-84, in a non-league contest.
