December 29, 2022: Parkersburg, WV 26101 The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints basketball team (Suffolk, VA), was overwhelmed 96-61 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV)
The Patriots now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gaston Day for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Parkersburg South will confront a Spartans team coming off a 66-61 non-league win over Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-3.
The Saints (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Kempsville (Virginia Beach, VA). The Chiefs come into the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Kempsville was overwhelmed by Grafton (Yorktown, VA), 42-30, in a non-league battle.
