Ohio High School Basketball - Northwest tops Whiteoak
December 29, 2022: Mowrystown, OH 45155 Northwest Mohawks (McDermott, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH), 66-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Northwest upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Mohawks host Norton (Norton, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Norton lost 68-46 in their recent non-league bout against Avon (Avon, OH)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a Southern Hills bout, on Friday, January 6. Whiteoak will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Greyhounds come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 59-46 league loss to Peebles (Peebles, OH).
