The Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA), 77-62 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Lancers (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors go into the West Catholic test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Valley Christian notched a victory over Lynbrook (San Jose, CA), 79-48, in a non-league test.

The Chieftains now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rocklin for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Palma will encounter a Thunder squad coming off a 65-55 non-league loss to Santa Cruz (Santa Cruz, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 10-7.
