The Penn Cambria Panthers topped the host Tyrone Golden Eagles basketball team by a final score of 62-52 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Bishop Carroll Huskies (Ebensburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands game, on Wednesday, January 4. Penn Cambria will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 86-51 non-league win over Conemaugh Valley (Johnstown, PA).

With the defeat, Tyrone moves to 4-2 on the year. The Golden eagles travel to Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to face the Bison in a Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 3.
