Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), 68-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Perkins County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Plainsmen host Potter-Dix (Potter, NE) to play the Coyotes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Potter-Dix won 61-16 in their recent league bout against Minatare (Minatare, NE)

Next up, the Blue Knights play the Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. South Platte will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 65-51 non-league loss to Hershey (Hershey, NE).
