December 29, 2022: Plainfield, IL 60544 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL) and the visiting Perspectives-IIT/Joslin Wolves (Chicago, IL), saw Plainfield South's basketball squad wallop Perspectives-IIT/Joslin by a tally of 67-46.
With the victory, Plainfield South improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL) to confront the Tigers in a SouthWest Prairie challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Plainfield North lost 66-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Perspectives-IIT/Joslin will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 45-42 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).
