Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host St. Michael the Archangel Guardians (Lee's Summit, MO), 60-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plattsburg upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Braymer (Braymer, MO) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Braymer lost 40-32 in their recent non-league bout against Golden City (Golden City, MO)

Next up, the Guardians clash with the University Academy Charter Gryphons (Kansas City, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. St. Michael the Archangel will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Gryphons go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 51-28 non-league win over Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO).
