Oregon High School Basketball - Putnam can't hold off Willamette
December 29, 2022: Eugene, OR 97402 The Willamette Wolverines basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Putnam Kingsmen to 58 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Willamette will battle a Democrats team coming off a 71-34 non-league win over Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR). The Democrats record now stands at 2-5.
The Kingsmen (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR). The Crimson Tide come into the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Glencoe was nudged by Jefferson (Portland, OR), 71-34, in a non-league contest.
