The Randall Raiders basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Van Alstyne Panthers to 62 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Canyon for a 4A Region I District 4 contest on Friday, January 6. Randall will meet a Eagles team coming off a 55-41 non-league win over Childress (Childress, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.

The Panthers (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Flyers enter the non-league contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, LaPoynor was defeated by Lytle (Lytle, TX), 67-66, in a non-league contest.
