Illinois High School Basketball - York fells St. Patrick
December 29, 2022: Chicago, IL 60634 York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL), 57-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, York upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Dukes host Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-6.
Next up, the Shamrocks play the Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic bout, on Friday, January 6. St. Patrick will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Redwings go into the bout with a 16-1 record after their 52-49 non-league loss to Simeon (Chicago, IL).
