December 29, 2022: Monticello, KY 42633 The Wayne County Cardinals basketball team (Monticello, KY), was overwhelmed 72-36 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Western Hills Mustangs (Cincinnati, OH)
The Mustangs now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCreary Central for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Western Hills will confront a Raiders team coming off a 80-67 non-league win over Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 5-3.
The Cardinals (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Rebels come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record.
