December 29, 2022: Andrews, TX 79714 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored a good 53-34 triumph over the Andrews Mustangs.
In their next game, the Greyhounds meet the Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX) in a 1A Region III District 22 match, on Tuesday, January 3. Slidell will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 7-9 record after their 42-38 non-league win over Electra (Electra, TX).
With the defeat, Andrews moves to 8-12 on the year. The Mustangs host Monahans (Monahans, TX) to meet the Loboes in a 4A Region I District 3 match on Friday, January 6. The Loboes enter the match with a record of 2-12.
