Georgia High School Basketball - Central Gwinnett crushes Apalachee
December 29, 2022: Winder, GA 30680 Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), 59-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Central Gwinnett upgrades its record to 13-1 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to clash with the Hawks in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Friday, January 6. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Mill Creek won 79-43 in their recent non-league bout against Dacula (Dacula, GA)
Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Jackson County Panthers (Jefferson, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Apalachee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 67-22 non-league loss to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA).
