Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) and the host Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN), saw Blackford's basketball squad wallop Purdue Polytechnic by a count of 65-32.

With the victory, Blackford upgrades its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 8-5. Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian won 47-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Union County (Liberty, IN)

Next up, the Techies play the Indiana Math & Science Academy North Knights (Indianapolis, IN) in a Greater Indianapolis challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Purdue Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 65-20 non-league loss to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN).
