The Varsity Opponent (, ) basketball knocked off the host Central Crossing Comets (Grove City, OH), 70-52 in Thursday's non-league test.

The (66-194) will now prepare for their test against Potter's House Christian (Wyoming, MI). The Pumas go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Potter's House Christian notched a victory over Kelloggsville (Wyoming, MI), 58-31, in a non-league test.
