The Chesapeake Cougars basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Central Falcons to 22 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catonsville for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Chesapeake will battle a Comets team coming off a 39-30 non-league win over Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD). The Comets record now stands at 1-1.

The Falcons (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Lions enter the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Largo was routed by Roosevelt (Washington, DC), 36-31, in a non-league contest.
