New Jersey High School Basketball - Cheltenham overwhelms Lower Cape May
December 29, 2022: Cape May, NJ 08204 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA) and the host Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ), saw Cheltenham's basketball squad wallop Lower Cape May by a tally of 51-19.
With the victory, Cheltenham improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA) to play the Colonials in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Colonials come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Plymouth Whitemarsh lost 47-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Ursuline Academy (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Cape May County Tech Hawks (Cape May Court House, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Lower Cape May will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
