The New Hope Indians basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Cornersville Bulldogs to 43 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John Paul II for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16.

The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Huntland (Huntland, TN). The Hornets enter the 1A District 9 contest with a 11-2 record.
