Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK), 39-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Corona del Mar upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Sea Kings host Laguna Beach (Laguna Beach, CA) to play the Breakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Breakers go into the bout with a record of 14-2. Laguna Beach won 38-36 in their recent non-league bout against Dana Hills (Dana Point, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bartlett Golden Bears (Anchorage, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Tuesday, January 10. West Anchorage will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
