Georgia High School Basketball - Dacula overwhelms Monroe Area
December 29, 2022: Monroe, GA 30656 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) and the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA), saw Dacula's basketball squad wallop Monroe Area by a tally of 60-39.
With the victory, Dacula improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to confront the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Mill Creek won 67-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA)
Next up, the Purple Hurricanes confront the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Monroe Area will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 88-58 non-league win over Ola (McDonough, GA).
