Connecticut High School Basketball - New Milford fells Danbury
December 29, 2022: New Milford, CT 06776 New Milford Green Wave (New Milford, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Danbury Hatters (Danbury, CT), 58-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Milford upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Green Wave host Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Hatters play the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Fairfield County match, on Friday, December 30. Danbury will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 58-23 non-league loss to Weston (Weston, CT).
