Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wilmington trounces Deer Lakes
December 29, 2022: Russellton, PA 15076 The Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) basketball crushed the host Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA), 63-20 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Greyhounds (8-2) will now prepare for their test against Hickory (Hermitage, PA). The Hornets go into the District 10 Region 5 test with a 3-3 record.
The Lancers now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Ligonier Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Tuesday, January 3. Deer Lakes will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 49-31 non-league loss to Derry (Derry, PA). The Rams record now stands at 2-4.
