December 29, 2022: Blue Ridge, GA 30513 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Demopolis Tigers (Demopolis, AL), by a count of 74-38.
With the victory, Fannin County upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Rockmart (Rockmart, GA) to play the Yellowjackets in a AA Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 3-9.
Next up, the Tigers play the Selma Saints (Selma, AL) in a 5A Area 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Demopolis will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 54-25 non-league loss to Prattville (Prattville, AL).
