With the victory, Woodville improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX) to confront the Blue Devils in a 3A Region III District 21 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Central Heights won 56-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX)
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Anahuac Panthers (Anahuac, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. East Chambers will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 38-21 non-league loss to Buna (Buna, TX).
