Texas High School Basketball - Fairfield fells Glen Rose
December 29, 2022: Glen Rose, TX 76043 Fairfield Eagles (Fairfield, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Glen Rose Tigers (Glen Rose, TX), 58-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fairfield upgrades its record to 21-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to Franklin (Franklin, TX) to clash with the Lions in a 3A Region III District 20 bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 11-2.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Hamilton Bulldogs (Hamilton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 2. Glen Rose will attempt to upgrade on its 25-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 38-37 non-league loss to Irion County (Mertzon, TX).
