The Hammond Skyhawks basketball team (Columbia, SC), was overwhelmed 64-43 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC)

The Diamond Hornets now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookland-Cayce for a AAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 10.

The Skyhawks (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC). The Barons come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
