Illinois High School Basketball - St. Charles North overwhelms Hampshire
December 29, 2022: Hampshire, IL 60140 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles North North Stars (St. Charles, IL) and the host Hampshire Whip-Purs (Hampshire, IL), saw St. Charles North's basketball squad wallop Hampshire by a tally of 58-36.
With the victory, St. Charles North improves its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The North Stars travel to Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL) to confront the Panthers in a DuKane challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Whip-Purs confront the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Hampshire will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 56-53 non-league loss to Barrington (Barrington, IL).
