Texas High School Basketball - Plains crushes Highland Park
December 29, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79120 Plains Cowboys (Plains, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 53-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Plains upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Cowboys host Crosbyton (Crosbyton, TX) to play the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Crosbyton lost 55-31 in their recent league bout against Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX)
Next up, the Hornets play the Bovina Mustangs (Bovina, TX) in a 2A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
