The Highland Hornets routed the host Parkland Matadors basketball team by a final score of 71-23 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Hornets face the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 3. Highland will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 40-35 non-league loss to Valley (Albuquerque, NM).
