Minnesota High School Basketball - Kimball ripped by Mahtomedi
December 29, 2022: Mahtomedi, MN 55115 The Mahtomedi Zephyrs basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Kimball Cubs to 35 in the Zephyrs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Zephyrs now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Mahtomedi will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 76-59 non-league loss to Becker (Becker, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 3-3.
The Cubs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Paynesville (Paynesville, MN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Paynesville triumphed over Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
