The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders basketball team (Orlando, FL), was nudged 61-56 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Montverde Academy Eagles (Montverde, FL)

The Eagles now possess a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olmsted Falls for a non-league battle on Friday, December 30. Montverde Academy will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-62 non-league win over River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-0.

The Highlanders (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pickerington Central (Pickerington, OH). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Pickerington Central was nudged by Rutgers Prep (Somerset, NJ), 52-47, in a non-league battle.
