High School Basketball - Marin Academy can't hold off Varsity Opponent
December 29, 2022: , The Varsity Opponent basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Marin Academy Wildcats to 31 in the non-league victory on Thursday.
The now sport a 68-200 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shining Star Sports Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Varsity Opponent will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-59 non-league win over Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-7.
The Wildcats (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Antioch (Antioch, CA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Antioch was nudged by Campolindo (Moraga, CA), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
