Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Marple Newtown nudges Wildwood
December 29, 2022: Newtown Square, PA 19073 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Wildwood Warriors (Wildwood, NJ), by a margin of 32-28.
The Fightin' Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Conestoga (Berwyn, PA). The Pioneers go into the Central outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Conestoga got by Hatboro-Horsham (Horsham, PA), 46-23, in a non-league outing.
The Warriors now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Pitman for a Tri-County - Classic outing on Thursday, January 5. Wildwood will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 67-33 non-league loss to Palmyra (Palmyra, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-4.
