With the victory, Sulphur Springs improves its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Hallsville (Hallsville, TX) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Hallsville lost 64-46 in their recent league challenge against Tyler (Tyler, TX)
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Gilmer Buckeyes (Gilmer, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 30. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record.
