New York High School Basketball - Niskayuna topped by Penfield
December 29, 2022: Niskayuna, NY 12309 The Penfield Patriots basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Niskayuna Silver Warriors to 49 in the Patriots non-league victory on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster Thomas for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Penfield will battle a Titans team coming off a 62-44 non-league loss to Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
The Silver Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchman enter the Section 2 Suburban match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Guilderland overcame Troy (Troy, NY), 45-40, in a non-league match.
