The The Master's Academy Lions basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host North Gaston Wildcats to 25 in the Lions non-league victory on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Charlotte for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. The Master's Academy will battle a Lions team coming off a 50-46 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-7.

The Wildcats (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave come into the 3A Conference 50 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Ashbrook triumphed over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
